格拉斯哥好吃的 l BEST Food in Glasgow

It's been 3 years in Glasgow for my study. Surely there are time to explore places to eat in the city.
These places are the restaurants that I will keep on going back, some even will be missed when I return to my home country :(
The listing below are arranged in random based on cuisines.

Chinese Cuisine

1. Loon Fung Cantonese seafood restaurant (龍鳳)

It has the best dimsum in town (even better than in Malaysia)。

417-419 Sauchiehall Street, City Centre, Glasgow G2 3LG

2.China Blue

96 Renfield Street, Glasgow G2 1NH

3. Banana Leaf

Malaysia chinese cuisine
they have lunch set menu, give it a try on

67 Cambridge StreetGlasgow G3 6QXScotland

Friends Chinese Cafe

273 High Street Glasgow G4 0QS

Master sun'd hotpot

87 cambridge streetGlasgowGlasgow Cityg3 6ru, United Kingdom

Rumours Kopitiam

21 Bath Street, City Centre, Glasgow G2 1HW

SichuanHouse Glasgow

349 Sauchiehall St.Glasgow G2 3HW.
Bull Leader Japanese Buffet Roast

55 Union Street,  Glasgow G1 3RB

Korean Cuisine

1138 Argyle Street, Glasgow, Lanarkshire G3 8TD

Thai Cuisine
Thai cuisine in Glasgow was just soso / normal for me.
But if you are opt for dessert, I would recommend the mango ice cream+sticky rice from Thairiffic (Restaurant & Bar), 303 Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow G2 3HQ

Western Cuisine
1. Bread Meat Bread
They served the best delicious filling burgers and sandwiches in the world man! I seriously fell in love at the first bite. It made me craved for more. The queue are pretty long during lunch and dinner time so make it during off-peak hour. The BBQ pull-pork sandwiches and the Redhead chicken are awesome, and i believe their beef must be as good as the rest, or even better. How i wish i can bring back the recipes and open a franchise in Malaysia! I seriously mean it.

faster check it out at:
104 Saint Vincent Street, Glasgow, Glasgow City G2 5UB

2. Republic Bier Halle 2-4-1 Pizza
A must try pizza in Glasgow. Again, this is the best pizza i have ever had in my life. Unbeatable. There are soooo many special flavours like hoi sin duck, smoked salmon, spicy chicken, black pudding and egg...etc. and I must say, they are all good! But of course people do have the best out of the best. my favorite will be the black pudding and smoked salmon.

Named after 2-4-1 as in u only pay for 1 pizza when you order two!!!!what a great deal! Nice food for cheap price.

9 Gordon Street, Glasgow. (next to Kiehl's, opposite TGI Friday)

3. Chilli Grill
I honestly think this is better than Nando's. cheaper price for better taste. Holy Grail restaurant.

515 Sauchiehall Street, Charing Cross, Glasgow G3 7PQ

4.Merchant Chippie
The UK is famous for the fish n chips, and after so many chippies that we've tried out, the best rank goes to Merchant Chippie. It's a little takeaway shop with a few table seats. If you were to sit in to enjoy the fish, make sure you are not going anywhere else after that, or do not wear fancy clothes to be soaked in the frying smell. We often felt like we are diffusing the frying, oiliness kinda aura/odor out of us when we are walking back home, ya just like the fish. It's pretty awful.

It's affordable and well-battered, I don't feel nausea from the oiliness in the fish, (unlike the Chippy's one) it's crispy and the fish still taste fresh. Give it a thumbs up.

155 High Street, Merchant City

5. Patisserie Valerie
Attractive window display of various kind of cakesssss and they taste good! my favorite will be their strawberry gateau and macaroons.

Glasgow Central Station, 19 West Nile Street, Glasgow G1 2PS

6.Trans-Europe Cafe
Old bus seats and city photos decorate this small, relaxed and hip cafe with Fri-Sat evening meals.
This is where I'll had my brunch after my hot yoga session at Infinity Yoga. I order the omelette normally and it's taste good for me with lots of ingredients and generous portion. + service here is good as bonus! A good place for breakfast that I'll recommend.

Trans-Europe Café, 25 Parnie Street, Glasgow G1 5RJ

7. Tempo Tea Bar
Wana get some refreshment from the long walking? I often stop by this little gem around GOMA to get some bubble tea drinks. They nailed it with new and creative mix n match flavors, not the typical one from Taiwan. My regular order: Lychee Milk + Mango Boba, no ice, large. Hehe. Call it a perfect day for me.

83 Queen Street, Glasgow G1 3DA

8. Rogano Seafood Restaurant
Yes, it's freaking expensive. I wouldn't been into here if it's wasn't for my valentine's dinner. So Million thanks to my bf for the generosity. The seafood platter are awesome, but I would say the other dishes taste fairly well, but are over-priced for the portions.
well, once in a blue moon, why not? (just for the seafood platter, ^^)

11 Exchange Place, Glasgow, Lanarkshire G1 3AN

Alright. As concluded above, these are the restaurants that I went most often, and had good impressions. There are sooooo many restaurants in Glasgow that are yet to be explored.

Eat well, Live well.
till next time,
